I only found out he drew the original cartoon years afterwards so obviously I sent him over one of these <\/span>featuring his updated drawing<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n \n

I found out later he loved that <\/span>T-shirt <\/span>which made me proud as he sadly passed away losing his fight with the big C.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In his honour I renamed this wee guy Sid and vowed to keep him as the official logo, commemorative badges sold out pretty quick as you\u2019d expect.<\/p>\n
